Implementation & Onboarding Specialist
Take a new client from signed to fully running inside ten business days — systems connected, processes documented, nothing dropped in the handoff.
We commit to having a new client's back office running in ten business days. That promise is only as good as the person executing it.
Onboarding is where the whole relationship is won or lost. You are inheriting someone's accumulated mess — the shared inbox nobody owns, the spreadsheet that is load-bearing, the vendor list that lives in a founder's head — and turning it into something a team can run.
It is part project management, part forensics, part change management with people who are nervous about letting go.
What you would do
- Own the ten-business-day setup for every new client, end to end
- Audit what a client has today: systems, access, obligations, deadlines, and the undocumented things only they know
- Connect and configure accounting, payroll, and document systems, and get access provisioned cleanly
- Document the client's processes as you build them, so the operations team can run without you in the room
- Run the handoff to ongoing delivery, and stay accountable through the first close
What we are looking for
- Experience onboarding or implementing clients onto a service or software platform
- Genuinely good at project management under a fixed deadline with a moving scope
- Can hold a call with a skeptical owner and leave them more confident than you found them
- Comfortable in accounting and operations tooling, or a fast study in it
- Authorized to work in the United States
Nice to have, genuinely optional
- Background in professional services, accounting, or operations consulting
- Have written documentation someone else actually used
- Experience with data migration or systems cutover
